Paints & Coating

Cellulose is widely used in coatings. It can be used as an emulsifying stabilizer, thickener and adhesive, etc. In water-based coatings, cellulose can play a good role in increasing viscosity, and at the same time, it can also enhance the adhesion and fluidity of the coating. In addition, cellulose can also be used to improve the emulsification performance of coatings and increase their stability.
  Increased Coating Adhesion:
Adding cellulose to coatings increases their adhesion and bonding strength, allowing them to better adhere to the surface of the substrate, thus improving durability and resistance to delamination.

 Improved Flowability:
Cellulose has excellent thickening properties, effectively controlling the flowability of coatings, making them easier to apply and brush. Furthermore, cellulose accelerates the drying time of coatings, thereby improving production efficiency.

 Enhanced Fire Resistance:
Due to its high-temperature resistance and fire-retardant properties, cellulose can be added to coatings to improve their fire resistance.

 Improved Water Resistance:
Cellulose can absorb and fix water molecules in coatings, thereby improving their water resistance and humidity stability. In addition, cellulose also enhances the coating's resistance to stiffness and aging.
